New HOTBOX machine at Proferro

Proferro is continuously committed to energy saving and innovation. As part of our efforts in this area, we commissioned a new HOTBOX machine in August 2022 for the production of our cores. This new machine compresses the functions of our three previous machines into one and also provides an improvement in quality.

In cooperation with the Italian manufacturer, an efficient machine was designed, both in terms of safety and performance. The new machine makes it possible not only to produce cores of even better quality but also to save electrical energy. This is thanks to the separation of resistors, which means that only the necessary areas are heated.
