We are currently looking for a motivated, experienced Sales Manager to join our team and further expand our market position.

Job description

As Sales Manager at Proferro, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve our growth objectives. You will work closely with management and with other departments to identify new market opportunities and maintain and expand existing customer relationships.

You will also build new contacts and convert your prospecting efforts into concrete business. In doing so, you will focus on both existing and new markets. You will be expected to identify sales opportunities among customers and provide added value to customers through co-engineering. This will enable you to realize profitable, sustainable business with both existing and new customers. Your job responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets;
  • Identifying new market opportunities and actively prospecting for and acquiring new customers;
  • Maintaining and growing existing customer relationships through regular communication and excellent customer service;
  • Analyzing market trends and competitive activities to strengthen Proferro's position;
  • Preparing sales forecasts and reports for the management team;
  • Collaborating with internal teams such as product development, production, and marketing in order to provide innovative solutions to customer needs;
  • Participating in trade fairs, conferences, and other networking activities to increase Proferro's visibility;
  • Providing total sales management services, up to and including contract negotiations and the conclusion of cooperation agreements;
  • Being part of a professional, 5-member sales team.

Profile

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar, sales management role, preferably in the industrial sector;
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills;
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market trends;
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English, while knowledge of other languages would be considered a plus;
  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude in your work;
  • Willingness to travel regularly, both within and outside Europe.
